What's new...
Welcome to the new and improved site. After years of being well-served by my own hand-written Wiki software, maintenance became too time consuming for someone with many other commitments to manage. Trying to find a replacement wasn't easy, but we've settled now on Bookstack. Most of the content from the old platform will eventually be migrated over, but there will likely be teething issues and it will take a little while to fit everything into the right places on the new site. The biggest question I've been getting is regarding Captain's Roster Online, and you'll be glad to know it is here and working right now (at least until I'm told otherwise 
). There are some minor changes, but overall things should run a bit more smoothly.
Not everything is being migrated over from the old site. Most importantly, we are not migrating over the user accounts from the old site, so you will need to register your account again. A lot of pages including Captain's Roster Online require that you are logged in before accessing them, so if you find yourself unable to get where you want to go, try logging in first! Registration is quick, simple, and, of course, free.

Also gone are the forums, roster sharing (at least for now), and Wiki books. We'll assess whether there is any interest in bringing any of those features back as we go.

Captain's Roster Online
Welcome to Captain's Roster Online, the online app that takes your company roster and converts it into iCalendar format for you to use and share with others. To use Captain's Roster Online, you need to login to Aviaddicts (as long as you've registered first), and then provide your original roster in the standard company format. Once processed your roster is available for download directly from your browser. You can save it and then import it into any of your personal calendars or share it with family or friends.
The iCalendar format is supported on all operating systems, including Windows, Mac, Linux, and Android, and also on several online services, such as Facebook, Google Calendar, and Windows Live. If you are going to use your roster offline, you'll need an iCalendar compatible program such as Microsoft Outlook or Apple Calendar.
Captain's Roster Online saves you the time and hassle of manually entering your roster details. Of course, you should always make sure that your calendar is correct, especially across time zones or over daylight saving.
