Fuelling of Aircraft
During fuelling, the aircraft and fuelling equipment must not have vents or filling points closer than:
- 5m of a sealed building;
- 6m of a stationary aircraft;
- 15m of an exposed public area; or
- 15m of an unsealed building.
During refuelling with passengers on board or boarding, a PA must be done, seatbelt signs and exit lights must be on, and there must be one cabin crew for each zone in which there are passengers. There must be one cabin crew member at each exit door in each zone.
