Batteries

Two 24V NiCd batteries are installed. The auxiliary battery is isolated from the power distribution system, unless the main battery is powering the standby system. Charging is automatically controlled. Fully charged batteries provide standby system for a minimum of 60 minutes. Battery voltage is 22-30V.

The main battery charger is powered through AC ground service bus 2. The auxiliary battery charger is powered through AC ground service bus 1.
