Emergency Light Switch

On the overhead panel.

OFF	lights permanently turned off
ARMED	lights in standby mode and batteries are charged; when normal power is lost, the emergency lights are automatically illuminated by power from the ELPU battery packs
ON	lights are manually turned on and supplied by the ELPU battery packs

On cabin attendant panel.

ARMED	lights remain in mode determined by cockpit switch
ON	lights are on using power from the battery packs - EICAS message EMER LT ON
