Slat Flap Control Computers

There are 2 SFCCs. Each has 2 channels, 1 for flaps and 1 for slats.

There is 1 PCU consisting of 2 independent hydraulic motors. The motors are driven by the related SFCC channel.

Failures

When a channel fails on a SFCC, the flaps or slats move at half speed.

Failure of a hydraulic system causes the slats (green or blue failure) or flaps (green or yellow failure) to move at half speed.

After a double SFCC failure, the A/P and A/THR are both lost (FCTM 8.5.1).
