Flight Crew Oxygen System

One 50 cubic foot or 77 cubic foot oxygen bottle is stored in the forward fuselage under the floor for the flight crew. The masks are provided with automatic pressure breathing with cabin altitude above 34,000'. A pressure transducer displays system pressure on the EICAS through SPDA 2.

When the doors for the oxygen mask storage are opened, or the TEST/REST button is pressed, the regulator is pressurised and the microphone is activated, and remain in that state until the TEST/RESET button is reset.
