P-ACE

Also from: Primary actuator control electronics

Effectively replaces the control cables of a conventional aircraft. It's logic connects the control column to the control surface PCU. Each of the 6 P-ACE units controls 2 PCUs. 2 P-ACEs are in the forward e-bay, 2 SF-ACEs are in the middle e-bay, and 1 P-ACE and 1 HS-ACE are in the aft e-bay. The 3 P-ACE units control the rudder and elevator surfaces. The 2 SF-ACE units control the slats and flaps, and the HS-ACE unit controls the horizontal stabiliser.

Each ACE has 2 independent channels. P-ACE 1 controls the left outboard elevator PCU through channel 1, and the left rudder upper PCU through channel 2.
